 Only one more month until Pre-K graduation! The time has flown by and the penguins have made so much progress over this past school year. Each day I see the penguins getting even more confident in their skills and I know they will be ready for the next year! Throughout the month of May we will be reviewing everything we have learned over the past months including: letter/sound recognition, sight words, CVC words, number recognition, addition/subtraction, money and telling time to the hour. I have been very impressed with how each student in the class has become very independent and is able to get their work done with not much help! Our themes this month will include the solar system, dinosaurs and summer. We will keep creating beautiful artwork to be sent home! The penguins will still be enjoying music and chapel this month and they are definitely enjoying their outside play. Spring fever has come! Important Dates: - May 4th – The Second session of Kindergarten Readiness begins (Tue. Wed. Thur.)
- May 4th – Moms and Muffins (9:00 am-9:30 am)
- May 16th – Singing Performance at Church (9:30 am)
- May 27th – Last day of Lunch Bunch
- May 31st – Memorial Day (NO SCHOOL)
- June 4th – Pre-K Graduation Ceremony at 6:00 pm (Friday night)
